Charis is a retreat program aimed at providing young adults the time and space to engage matters of faith in a community of other young adults. The spirituality weaving its way through the retreats is inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola. It emphasizes deepening one’s awareness of God’s presence in daily life and discerning the ways in which God calls each of us to minister as disciples of Christ in the world. Retreats will be offered through St. John’s Church at Creighton bi-annually, and all retreats are open to all young adults in the Archdiocese of Omaha. Each retreat will focus on a theme relevant to the professional and personal lives of young adults.

Adult Faith Formation

Contact: Coco Osborne email

St. John's Parish provides faith formation opportunities throughout the calendar year for adult members of the parish. The goal of faith formation is threefold: to provide a space for members of the parish to engage their faith with the Catholic Christian faith tradition; to engage topics of faith within a community; and to build community. If you are looking for ways to engage your faith, learn with others, and deepen your sense of community please join us for any of our scheduled events.
