The Sacrament of Anointing within the Mass is available to all those who are chronically ill, advanced in age, overly burdened with the struggles of life and even children who suffer from illness. The entire community is invited and encouraged to pray and support the sick of our parish.
Prayer in the Style of Taizé
Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7:00pm in St. John's Church
“Be still, and know that I Am God.” Come find your center among the candles and calming music at St. John’s. This is a form of Christian evening prayer with scripture, silence, music, and lots of candles.
You’ll “flip” for the Pancake Man October 5th
Enjoy all the pancakes and sausage you can possibly hold on Sunday, October 5, during our annual Pancake Breakfast in Lower St John’s to benefit two parishes on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The Pancake Man will be flipping flapjacks from 8:30 to 12:30. Tickets are $5 per person, $15 per family.
Parishioners and Creighton students are asked to donate a gently used or new warm article of clothing or a blanket for Pine Ridge.
Monetary donations for Pine Ridge can be made at this link: https://giving.parishsoft.com/App/Form/55c9bd71-91f8-4db1-baaf-cd42b6026fd5
